What's it like to work with me?
Starting therapy can feel daunting, but I’m here to support you. Sessions with me are safe, warm and free of judgement. Whilst I'm always professional, clients appreciate my relaxed approach to therapy. My style is relatable and honest, comes with a side of humour and is always infused with curiosity, compassion and genuine care.
As well as evidence-based tools and strategies, I also offer creative techniques to help shift the patterns that feel stuck - because sometimes, thinking less and exploring differently is the key to real change.
Especially if you’re someone who gets ‘stuck in their head’ or is an overthinker.
You don’t need to be artistic or creative - just open to trying new ways of understanding yourself.

How do I know if therapy is right for me?Good question! If you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected, therapy can help you gain insight, develop coping strategies, and find a sense of balance. If you're unsure, let's book a free 20 minute consultation to explore your needs and how therapy might support you.

Do you work online or in person?I offer sessions over online video and by telephone. As sessions are conducted remotely, it is important that you have a strong internet connection and/or strong telephone signal. Please note, that I only work with clients based in the UK at this time.

How long are therapy sessions?Typically, individual sessions last 50 minutes but I understand that weekly sessions aren't always practical. As such, I also offer longer sessions which allow you to go deeper while maintaining momentum. Extended sessions are also ideal if you need more time to process complex emotions or simply prefer a more spacious approach to therapy. 50 minutes 75 minutes (1.5 x 50 minutes) 110 minutes (2 x 50 minutes + 10 minute break)

How often will we meet?For our work to be most effective together, sessions will take place on a weekly or fortnightly basis. Wherever possible, I always recommend working together as regularly as possible to begin with so that we can build a strong foundation that supports steady progress and deeper exploration.

How long will I need sessions for?The length of therapy depends on your needs and goals. Healing and growth take time, so I tend to work with clients over several months to allow for lasting, meaningful change. Therapy is a commitment that requires effort and dedication. It is not a quick fix, but a journey towards sustainable growth and transformation. I am here to support you in navigating the ups and downs of the therapeutic process so you can emerge stronger and more resilient.

How much do therapy sessions cost?50 minute therapy session: £80 75 minute therapy session (1.5 x 50 minutes): £120 110 minute therapy session (2 x 50 minutes): £160 Payment due 48 hours before scheduled sessions.

What can I expect in a session?In our sessions, we’ll explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences. I integrate creative tools and tailored strategies to help you gain deeper self-awareness, build resilience and feel more confident in yourself.

Do you offer a free consultation?Yes, I offer a free 20 minute consultation call to help you determine if we're a good fit in working together and to see if we can make our schedule work. This is a change to discuss your needs/goals and to ask any questions you might have 😊 If it turns out that we're not able to work together then I'm always happy to signpost you to relevant resources and to make colleague recommendations.

What happens if I need to cancel or reschedule a therapy session?I ask for 48 hours' notice for any cancellations or rescheduling. If you're unable to attend a session, I will always do my best to accommodate a new time within the next 5 workings days, though this can't always be guaranteed. If a session is cancelled with short notice and cannot be arranged within this time frame then the full session fee will be incurred.

What if my problems aren't bad enough for therapy or I think they're silly?It's common to feel that your struggles might not be serious enough to seek help, but your feelings and experiences are valid, no matter the size or scope. Everyone’s journey is unique, and just because your challenges may seem small compared to others doesn't mean they aren’t affecting you deeply. Therapy is a safe space to explore what’s on your mind and heart without judgment and we can work together to address whatever feels important to you, no matter how big or small it seems. You deserve to feel heard and supported. If it matters to you, then it matters to me.
