A little bit about me...
Amy Thomas-Owen, Integrative Counsellor

I help anxious, overthinkers finally see that they have it within them to become more self-assured, calm and connected by providing them with the right support and guidance to get there.

I'm genuinely passionate about helping the truly wonderful people I meet as clients, who have so much offer, break free from the 'what ifs' that are holding them back and keeping them stuck.

What if I get it wrong?
What if I look stupid?
What if its not good enough?
What if people don't like me?
What if, what if, what if...

These 'what ifs' trap you in fear, stopping you from taking risks, setting healthy boundaries, getting your own needs met and truly stepping into the life you deserve - one that’s full of confidence, growth and purpose.

I help my clients build lasting self-acceptance, unwavering self-belief and deep healing. Together, we develop the tools and support they need to trust themselves, show themselves kindness and realise their true potential.

The common solutions for self-doubt and overthinking often promise quick fixes, offering temporary relief without creating lasting, meaningful change. But real transformation takes time.
In therapy, we work to unravel years of conditioning, shifting old patterns and beliefs, and creating a deeper understanding of who you truly are.

I’m here for you every step of the way, offering compassionate guidance and making sure you feel completely held and supported.

This is a safe space for you to heal, at your own pace, for however long you need.

I am dedicated to helping
people believe in themselves
My diverse therapy training, combined with my background in academia and Fine Art, equips me with the expertise you need and deserve to break through the blocks that are holding you back from becoming your full, vibrant self. Together, we’ll work towards creating a life that feels meaningful, fulfilling, and truly happy.

But more than that, you want to work with someone who gets what it’s like to struggle with self-doubt and lack of confidence, right?

I understand, because I’ve lived it too. For years, I battled low self-esteem and a lack of confidence that kept me from pursuing my creative passions - and almost stopped me from following my calling as a therapist.

I know what it feels like to be stuck, to question whether it’s even worth trying anymore. But here’s the thing; when we work together, you won’t just get a trained therapist - you’ll get someone who truly understands what you’re going through, someone who’s been there and who’s committed to helping you find your way out.
Let's discuss how we can work together to help you move forward

CORE VALUES
Values aren't just words - they're the common threads that are woven throughout my work, my life and my own journey of growth, healing and self-discovery.
They underpin my approach to therapy where ambitious, high-achievers, creatives and deep-thinkers are supported to unravel self-doubt and reconnect with themselves.

COMPASSION
I’ll meet you with the compassion you deserve, creating a space where you can confront your self-doubt and fears, knowing you’ll be fully accepted.
You’ll also learn how to show yourself compassion, helping you replace self-criticism with understanding and kindness.

COURAGE
It takes courage do this work and the next step can feel daunting. I’m here to support you in finding the courage to push past what’s holding you back.
You’ll gain the confidence you need to face your fears and take bold, empowered actions toward the life you’re meant to live.

CREATIVITY
Using creative tools and exercises, we’ll find new ways to understand your feelings and transform your story.
Sometimes, thinking less and exploring differently is the key to real change. Especially if you’re someone who gets ‘stuck in their head’ or is an overthinker.

Do you dream about a time when you don't constantly criticise yourself, feel discouraged or overwhelmed but that feels impossible right now?

Don't you wish you had to tools and support to achieve that?

You're in the right place.
